Scuba Diving at White Star Park Quarry

White Star Park is a State Park, used to be a quarry, now filled with water and can be used for scuba diving. Also, there is an area for swimming and fishing. Location, Gibsonbury, Ohio.

The quarry is used by diver for practicing and checking out their equipment before going out to do any diving in the Great Lakes.

The blue and white buoys actually are holding up an underwater platform about 20 feet below the surface. It is used to conduct Open Water Certification Diving Classes. Air fills are available at the park.

An underwater tour shows a small windmill and a boat. Although I don't have photos, there things like a phone booth, stop sign, stop light, motorcycles, bicycles, Frito Lay truck laying on the bottom of this quarry.
