Crackle Fire Agate

Crackle fire agate often called spiderweb agate or crab agate because of its distinctive pattern within the stone. While this type of stone is popular it is not the same as fire agate found in northern Mexico and the southwestern United States which much more expensive and rare. Crackle agates are created with real stones. It is achieved from heat treating Carnelian stones, a type of chalcedony, and then cooled quickly to achieve the crackle patterns. Each bead will be unique its colors and patterns. Colors are often a deep brown, red to orange, and creamy colors.
